Mr. Hota is in Social development field since 1984. He worked as Sociologist at Vector Control Research Centre of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India for two years and then entered NGO sector and started to do active Social work. He has ample experience in Action Research, Trainings and Development Programme Implementation.
Totally Dedicated to the cause of Poor & suppressed people , Prasanta Hota committed his career in much challenging NGO Management. He is the stalwart of SSE in Organization development; he worked as President-cum-Executive Director from 1991 to 2004.
At present he is the Executive Director of SSE.
He is managing implementation of "Integrated Health & Nutrition Project" (INHP) since 2000, which targets to decrease the IMR and Malnutrition of below 6 years children.
The innovative project of "Jiban O Jibika" (Life & Livelihood), launched recently in Balangir district, is a brain-child of Mr. Hota.
Mr. Hota is an efficient HRD Trainer also. He conducts Sensitivity Trainings for NGO and GO groups at all levels. His Trainings has changed life & attitude of many participants and developed commitment in their works.
He is a great motivator & Team leader. His leading makes our Team always a winning Team; SSE received Best NGO award in 2001 and invited to many Government Committees at District level since 1994.

Multiple skilled and abundantly talented Mr. Hota is a very good communicator and Community mobilizer also. His interventions at field in INHP, Reproductive and Child Health (RCH), Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy (ISM & H), Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R )Project, Malaria Control & Prevention project, Minor Irrigation project, has inspired community to work closely with SSE and achieve success in Projects.
Mr. Hota is a Network- Person also. He is member of many Networks of NGOs and Leads several Networks also.

Fr. Joseph Chittoor
is our
senior Guest faculty. He
is a member in the Department of Alternate Systems of Medicine in Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI). He is also Guest Faculty of St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, and Consultant to a few NGOs.
He has received the prestigious
Binova Bhabe National Volunteer
award in 2001 for for valuable
contribution to Herbal Medicine. He helps us to train NGOs & Baidyas on Community Medicine (Herbal Medicine). He has joined us since 2005 |

0' input vermin-compost,
Bio-dynamic management, Dry land
farming, Natural pesticide &
