Study Report on Practices of villagers regarding last rite performed on dead body of a pregnant women :  
 
This study was done during January 1994 through direct interaction with women groups. Two villages was taken as sample:— Sanjhinki (Tribal dominated) and Piplipali (Mixed population) to find out beliefs, custom and rituals prevailing among community regarding last rites on the dead body of pregnant women. 100 Kishori Sangha girls and 50 non– KS girls — total 150 girls were taken as sample in seven villages. Study Report on girls of Sonepur district married out of Orissa through mediators  
 
It is found that majority of the girls are from Brahmin caste. All are from poor or extremely poor economic background. 52% of mediators is from Local area only.
